Dr. Cheryl Hicks joins other faculty across the country to respond to
the death of Breonna Taylor, placing Taylor's murder within the broader
context of how unjust policing affects Black women's lives in the past
and present. Hicks' post, "Breonna Taylor, Police Brutality, and Black Women’s Historic Demands for Justice," appears in the Association of Black Women Historians’ series on Black Women and Policing.
