Biography

Melissa Maestri, a native of upstate New York, received a B.A. and an M.A. in Teaching from Le Moyne College and her Ph.D. from the University of Delaware in 2015 with a dissertation comparing the slave trades of New York City and Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Maesti has taught both in-person and online at colleges in New York, Delaware, Pennsylvania, and Utah.​
