Biography
​Michael Forino came to the University of Delaware after completing a M.A. in Public History at Central Connecticut State University and working in the historic preservation field. His dissertation project looks at changes in penal labor practices in the northeast from 1880 to 1930. He specifically focuses on the impacts of technology and business on prison labor and prison industries.
